Pocket RPG iPhone by Tasty Poison Games and published by Crescent Moon Games

Pocket RPG, a fast-paced dual-stick action-RPG, is coming to the iPhone soon.

Enter a world overrun by hordes of monsters. Explore trap-filled dungeons and face mighty bosses. Collect piles of treasure and items and invest in dozens of abilities and unlockable equipment. Test your skills against the oncoming darkness.

You can choose from three distinct classes, each with their own combat style.

1. The Blade Master.
A duel wielding melee specialist. He survives by clearing swathes of enemies with each of his mighty strikes. He has devastating special moves which skillful players will be able to use to decimate their foes.

2. The Dark Ranger.
A deadly archer who can summon waves of arrows that bounce, seek and split. Perforate your enemies with dense walls of arrowy death.

3. The Battle Mage
A powerful, but fragile, nuker who controls the forces of fire, ethereal, ice and lightning to obliterate groups of enemies. Charge up her spells to critical levels and unleash maximum destruction.

Each quest in Pocket RPG is a new adventure. The hero starts at level zero with an empty sachel and collects items and rapidly builds their strength to dizzying proportions. Pocket RPG is not a "my numbers beat your numbers" game. Items matter and the way you use them is even more important.

Release:
Pocket RPG for the iPad (Big Pocket Edition) is being released on the 14th of July. The release date of the iPhone and iPod version (Normal Sized Pocket Edition) will be announced soon. We will be updating this page with the information.

Pocket RPG is being developed by Tasty Poison Games, a small (but intensely passionate) South African studio and it is being published by Crescent Moon Games (who are famous for other awesome games as well as being awesome).

(also, to the noble Crex, apologies for duplicating your thread, and thank you for your support)

Pocket RPG, an upcoming iPad game developed by Tasty Poison Games and published by Crescent Moon Games, will be heading to the iPhone and iTouch as posted on the front page:

Quote:
Tasty Poison and Crescent Moon are shooting to have the game out in February on the iPad, with a universal update planned that will make it compatible with 4th generation devices. After this, they hope to optimize the game for older devices if possible, but are focused on playing to the strengths of newer devices for the initial release.
I can't wait!

It sucks that we have to wait for the universal update, but oh well.

That's fantastic news! I was gutted when I heard that the release of the 4th Gen iPhone (or was it just the latest firmware?) would delay this appearing on our pocket iDevices. Hopefully not too long to wait now though...??
