Raptor Calll of the Shadows 2010 Edition has just been released in the Mac App Store by DotEmu. This is a solid port of the classic MS-DOS shmup featuring cool additions such as HD graphics (optionally). It is priced at 2.99$.

Played through a couple of the missions.

First impressions:

Really solid, well done port of a classic SHMUP.

Certainly seems like it'll provide some challenge to keep it fun and worth playing.

I don't regret the purchase at all, but I am a huge fan of SHMUPS.

Edit: Played it with keyboard controls, by the way. Need to get around to the others...
