Tileset Creator Needed

I need some tiles (16x16) and then put into a tileset that will be work with the map editor (Tiled). The tiles need to have very good graphics and need to have some terrain on them aswell as some objects.

If you can help, reply or PM me or add me on Skype (willevansapps) or twitter (will759) or AIM (willevansapps) and we can work something out.

Please show me your portfolio.

Regards,

Will Evans

How many tiles roughly are we talking about?

Terrain tiles can be anywhere from a few (5-6) to upwards of 50 depending on how many different terrain types you want(i.e. grass, forest, lava, snow, etc.)

Same goes for objects, thy would be anywhere from a few upwards of who knows depending on what type of game it is.

Yes, it does, but you actually do not need all of those tiles.

According to your list all you need is:

Grass tile
Woodland tile
Desert tile
Snow tile

Tree tile
Stone Wall (Vertical) tile
Stone Wall (Horizontal) tile
Melon tile
Signpost tile
Flagpole tile

Stone Path tile
Grass Path tile
Woodland Path tile
Snow Path tile
Sand Path tile

Shrub tile

Ninja, Throwing Star, and Hawk

In all, 16 tiles not including the Ninja, throwing star and hawk.

Do they have to be 16 x 16 or can they be scaled up (i.e 32x32, 64x64)

They can be scaled up! Also the finished product would need to be a .zip or .rar with the PNGs of each tile and also the tileset PNG.

Normally the artist would generally just give the tileset image because usually the developer would just define what part of the image is each tile (example: grass tile is from coordinates 32,32 to 64,64 on tileset.png (but of course in code))

The reason for this is that usually all the tiles are made in one image; not separate and then combined.
