Thinking about this now that it's going cheap again. Lot of hate for the last update that added ads. How bad are they? Are they just in menus at the start or ingame too?

And I saw some posts about the last update causing crashes in iPod Touches.

I don't currently have this installed, but when I played it when it first came out, it ran perfectly on my 4g.

But now that you guys necro'd this thread, I decided to pick this game up again. Now time to complete the only achievement i have missing: Speedrun. LOL.

So my gaming time is split between LOE2 and Dead Space.

sorry to drag up an old thread (but i guess the point is to not have a million threads about the same game?), but i'm curious about an offer from when the game first came out.

in the original description, there was something about a special gift for people who owned dead space 2. like if you registered this game, and you had perviously registered ds2, you'd get some secret in-game perk.

did this ever happen? i remember registering and never hearing back from it.

I am absolutely disgusted by the fact we payed a premium price for this game to then get ads stuffed in your face. What the heck EA!?
The least they can do is add Retina support for this otherwise great title.
Never finished the game and now I have to start over anyway now that I've got the new iPad.
Retina please!
