I'm trying the lite pretty fun.
I have a few lame questions. 1. Can paladog not do physical attacks? Only mana attacks? 2. Did y'all get bored after a while...it happens to me a lot. being addicted for a while, forgetting about it. 3.what is the "aura" thing? 4. Can paladog not move on 1-03, the level where the icons come out of the mouth? Last edited by Stan; 02-04-2011 at 11:05 PM.. |

2. I'm still hooked. 3. The aura is the orange circle surrounding Paladog, support units receive bonuses if they are within that circle (i.e. most has special attacks, you can acquire slow heal for units in that range). 4. Some special stages like 01-03 do not allow Paladog to move, that's what makes them unique. These also help stave off boredom by changing the mechanics (see you question 3). |

Or simply make the skill trees available for every level-up, not random. The random factor is ridiculous. Hell I can't even find out what skills I already learned, since apparently there's no skills page!

Yea I would have rather had increase food production over increase paladog defense. My paladog don't even take hits in my main file.

There is no evidence that the developer is still reading this thread. At one point, long ago, the developer made a single post without much substance. Accordingly, buy the game for what it is, a uniquely charming and fun side-scrolling platformer, and realize there are some flaws -- no survival level, for example -- that may never be corrected. The game WAS in the top 25 for a bit, so I guess we can hope for something to be added, but dont count on it.
Anyone cleared hard yet? I moved on to other games and havent gotten very far into hard. |

Another question : is there another game as polished as Paladog in the same style ? I think about Stenches but Paladog is so easy to play that I prefer this last one ! Paladog is my best 2011 game for the moment !

The one thing I wish, as others have pointed out, that the skill trees were not as randomized when you gained levels. You may have to gain a few levels before being able to increase the skill you want and then of course as luck would have it during that time there are TWO of the skills you want to increase appearing at the same time and you have to choose one. Otherwise it is so polished and so deep that I do wonder why there is not as much talk about this game as I think it deserves. It was on New and Noteworthy which I believe it deserved and climbed the chart a little but surely needs some more love! |

OK - LOVE this freaking game. At this point I'm level 100 with over 18 hours invested and finally in the palace levels! Level 6 is kicking my A** big time. All the bomb dudes are sent and I can't figure out the solution to get past them....
And yes, this is the sleeper game of the year so far. Any clues? - John |

I use an electric wand for most things, and it works fine here. Doesnt kill the bombs before they explode, but it can do enough damage that your other units might kill them. |
