Has Loot Master Redeemed Itself?

Hey Gang,

Slipping almost completely under the radar, Loot Master FINALLY got the long promised save function...but is it too late?

http://appshopper.com/games/loot-master

I like the idea of Diabloesque random loot drops in an almost TD like game with a wide variety of baddies plus ways you can optimize your guy in a glorified moving whack a mole like game, but does it hold anyone's attention?

I also get that $5 is still probably a bit much to be asking for a game that is this far past it's primetime, but I'm still almost tempted.

What exactly are you suppose to do in this game? Don't really understand the description as mix of TD and RPG.

Here's a non-working video review

For me anyways.

It took awhile to load but it finally did play the video for me. Looks interesting.

It looks really cool from the screenshots, but it needs to come down from $4.99 before I'd consider buying it (or at least, a lite version).

I see it in action but there are still many questions...

I've actually seen a few of the video reviews and I still am not sure if there is something to it EVEN WHEN I know exactly what to expect gameplay wise.

Is there a meaningful variety of baddies (are they more than just different graphics and hit points)?

Are there different tactics or is there really just one optimal path (like maybe Strength is by far the most important statistic with Wisdom just being something they never figured out any decent uses for)?

Whoever owns this game, please post about the actual gameplay and would be great if you answered the people's questions above me. I wonder the same thing. Thanks!

I'd like to hear a bit about how the items work. I watched the video and see how you tap the monsters to kill them, and you get items. However, it's not clear to me how the items work.

Here, I think, is the entirety of the game's documentation. If not super clear most of the items seem to work passively as various weapons, armor, or jewelry you put onto the upper screen's paper doll figure accordingly (so you can only wear, for example, one helm at a time).
