Pixel Pig HD - Porky Pachinko

Hi Guys,

I posted this in Upcoming iPad Games last week, but we are now officially out in the store. The iPad version is the native version, but it's actually available on iPhone, PC, and Mac as well. You can check out all the versions here: http://www.smorpheus.com/PixelPig

We don't have free versions yet, but we do have a special edition you can play free over at Kongregate: http://www.kongregate.com/games/ownzilla/pixel-pig

--Game Concept:
Pixel Pig came out of the idea that I really liked games like Sushi Cat and Peggle, but I wanted more control over the ball once it was shot into the play-field. With Pixel Pig, once he's launched into the field, you can blast him upwards with the gas button or tilt your iPad to subtly steer him left or right.

We also have a pretty nifty upgrade system that's tied into the Achievements you earn.

Please feel free to ask any questions about the game.

Oh my gosh this is so exciting. I love anything that reminds me of Plinko from Price is Right. I was curious if you guys have a plan to continue to add on to this game. I am so excited to play this now!

Hi Bits,

We are hoping to do a new pack of 20 levels every month or so. The game would have to be moderately successful though.

Ojitus, for future reference is it possible for me to put in that app template, or is that something I just leave to you guys?

Thanks guys!

Went ahead and picked this up and I really like it. If you like Peggle, you will more than likely enjoy this.

I do wish that the graphics were more crisp, as is it kind of looks like an iPhone game at 2x.

If you want to put the appinfo like I did in your future threads simply use this method [appinfo=all] itunes link here without spaces [/appinfo] but without the . I am not officially affiliated with Toucharcade, I'm just a user.

Thanks for the feedback Bazooka. On the first update, we will be doing a complete revamp of the textures to decrease memory usage and further improve the look on the iPad.

I know you went ahead and bought, but we will have a gameplay video at some point this week.

Thanks for the tip Ojitus.

Sounds Good.

I absolutely love this game, it is a nice take on Peggle and different enough to make it a unique experience. The controls are great and I really like the upgrade system.

My only complaint are the graphics. If this was an iPhone game or maybe even Universal it wouldn't bother me so much but as an HD iPad game it is very rough looking. I am all for play over graphics and this game succeeds there, I just wish the graphics matched the brilliance of the game.
