Game Impressions

Completely mad! This is what Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clarke would see if they did mushrooms and mescaline for 3 days straight. It’s hard to comprehend how this could even begin to work on anything other than a touch screen. The graphics are very pretty; the falling, tumbling robots are endearingly cute without becoming irritating and the backgrounds are great. Music and sound effects are also spot-on, clear and crisp and adding nicely to the rapidly escalating on-screen action. It’s almost impossible to put this into a category; ok, we’ve all seen games where stuff falls and you have to tap it, but this takes all those ideas, promptly forgets them all and reinvents itself as something unique. How many different robots are there? 99, of course. Play this game. Feel a small glimmer of joy.

There's your iTunes review which is also part of the full review on my gaming blog. I hope you like it.

Wonderful! Planetshooter~
And THIS is my favorite part
"It’s like: B-Movie robots falling out of the sky and … only … you …. can … save them!"
HAHA~~ Thank you for the great review!!!

Hi dear ROBOT 99 lovers,
I have couples of FREE PROMO CODE for you!

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/robot-99/id414517274?mt=8

I am currently an NYU ITP (Interactive Telecommunications Program http://itp.nyu.edu/) student. Since I am aiming to develop this game for my thesis to explore the multitouch game mechanism(iPad), I need some gameplay photos/videos/blogging review to rich my thesis research.

How to get a FREE code:
If you play ROBOT 99 on your iPad, please play it with your friends/family and share your gameplay experience to me. (photos/videos/blog post)

However it is totally fine if you only have an iPhone. I am also thinking to make this game a subway game, especially because you can play ROBOT 99 with only one hand. Please let me know how you feel, or send me your crazy gameplay photos/videos as well.

Just for reference, here are two blog reviews I received from other blogger:

Please email fu@fu-design.com me if you want to join ROBOT 99 test play. : )
Thank you!
