Yer absolutely right Hence the hope in my post.

(The fact that we are only one day in is, perhaps paradoxically , what made me react to the second missions cycle, as it was near-identical in content. But if there is an online component to the mission updates, something I previously thought Apple shot down at first sight (but have now come across in several games, such as Eliminate Pro and High Noon), the possibilities for unique fun to be had are vast...)

Yeah, I remember the quote That is what I had in mind. As it only says that you do not have to be online to play, I'm still hoping for an online component, if not for every cycle, then at least for some sort of periodic content update.

OIC, yes frequent content updates would be good.

At the moment though, an update that makes the game playable would be good - it's just started crashing on my iPhone 4 (as well as my ipad) also, when I click 'continue' on the first screen it crashes. I've killed the app, and restarted the phone, no joy. Not very impressive.

@RodeoBenjamin

I'm curious, how many contracts are you planning on releasing for Hunters' first episode? At your current rate of 5 contracts a day, you would need 150 contracts per month, which seems like a huge time commitment.

Also, in the app store description you mention future "story based missions", is this an actual single player campaign mode?

I regret purchasing this. There is a small amount of depth. The is a lack of content. The weapons (except for flamethrower and rocket launcher) are the same, except with different damage / range combos. For example, the shotgun should have a chance to hit more than one enemy at a time. Also, the hit chances are the same for being at point blank and 5 tiles away. Doesn't make sense.
