Default Why doesn't Gameloft port/ redo over Prince of Persia/ Splinter Cell for the iPhone?

These games were absolutely terrific on mobile deviced. Even SC and PoP on my old cheap Sprint phone 5 years ago was great. Now check these:

I wouldn't mind the 2D graphics, they're detailed.
I much prefer good looking 2D games than crap looking (and playing) 3D games.

They made HoS a 2D game on regular phones and then a 3D game on the iPhone, wish they did the same with Prince of Persia.

I'm craving for some great old school 2D games. Really, I wouldn't mind having the original Prince of Persia remake on iPhone (just tweaked graphics, sound and controls while everything is still the same).

i think KISS applies to these types of games.

Keep It Simple Stupid.

We don't need all the crap bogging it down if it's gonna run like crap.

Exactly. Hell even when I was looking for those videos, I saw a 3D version of Prince of Persia that came out last year, but it looked horrible. I just went and found the old 2d game I'm accustomed to lol.

Really liked the wall running and climbing.

They absolutely can do it and I am almost as certain they have the intentions to do so.

However, they have a lot on their plate and will get to it...eventually.

Isn't Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell licensed to Ubisoft, not Gameloft? Or is the mobile version different?
