Storm In A Teacup (platformer by Cobra Mobile, published by Chillingo)

You are little Storm, a magical fellow traveling through a candy-colored paradise in a teacup. Your chief goal is to survive treacherous traps like cardboard crocodiles and collect sugar cubes. Every stage also has three stickers tucked in strange little places, so you have a secondary reason to replay previously finished levels.

At GDC, I had just a few minutes with Storm in a Teacup. Not only did I enjoy its attractive visuals, but I also liked the solid platforming. Instead of just a regular jump, you have a wind meter. When you tap the screen to jump, you spend wind power. But as soon as you let go, that meter begins to refill. You must use the refilling wind to break nasty falls, zip up tiered landscapes, and narrowly avoid certain doom if you accidentally make a false move.
