I'm not gunna lie i bought this and i like it. i picked tepig because hes a tank in attack stats while snivy has high defese and osshwott is pretty even... only thing i dont like is i can't find that "perfect team"

Snivy's for speed, actually.

Later on, you find that in competitive battles, you won't even use your starter as often as your other Pokemon, if you're even going to use it.

Anyway, So far I have every single starter since the 1st gen on my Platinum. All that's left is to transfer it to White, then obtain Tepig and the otter.

The starters blow. Look and stat wise. If Tepig didnt have his highest in HP he could've been good.

I have both my Oshawott and Snivy evolved.. Not going to bother evolving them to their last stages. The last stages of the starters are very hideous-- not since Torchic and its final stage, Blaziken. Can't wait to get an everstone. I will need two though :/

My six Pokemon will be:
-Dewott (have)
-Servine (have)
-Braviary
-Klinklang
-Darmanitan, or Victini
-Accelgor

Level 20s in the daycare area.

EDIT: I would love to trade for someone's Rufflet. I can't get it until very late in the game.

^ you can press B to stop evolution. I'm sure you know that though.

I'd love to have a Rufflet to since I'm playing Black and that means I don't get it at all.

Anyways, I just beat the second gym. I'm going at an extremely slow pace I know but eh, its more fun that way. I still only have my starter pokemon since I plan my team from the beginning and I don't get my second and third member until the third gym city. Servine's been pretty good so far though.

I know.. I would much prefer the everstone. I can only obtain one in the game.

I would trade you one but I can't get one until after the eighth gym It is the only reason why I got the White version.

Okay, I don't know the strengths and weaknesses of any of the new 156 Pokemon.

Therefore, I can't build a stable team. My current competitive one is:
Togekiss
Electivire
Swampert
Blissey
Dragonite
Froslass/ Or one of the new Pokemon

All EV trained, IV breeded, nature hunted.
