App description: Take to the streets and exact justice "one shell at a time" in the new game based on the upcoming film HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN (directed by Jason Eisener and distributed by Magnet Releasing).

HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN requires iOS 3.0 or higher and is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, 3rd and 4th Generation iPod touch and all models of iPad.

Inspired by the classic gameplay of side-scrolling action games from the 80's and 90's, HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN takes you back to the days when there was no "Easy Mode" and games were challenging. Back then, getting past the first level took effort, and you would compare notes with your friends on how to beat bosses and cheap-shot enemies. There's no Game Genie for App Store games to help you cheat!

We will be making new levels, bosses, enemies, and features available as free downloads between now and the theatrical release of the film HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN. Keep an eye on our website for details, and keep honing your skills. You never know what we might throw at you in the next version.

Mondo and Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas are proud to present HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN as their first foray into game publishing.

U.S. Residents: Watch HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN On Demand Everywhere on April 1st and In Theaters May 6th!

VERSION 1.2 COMING SOON!!!

Well, it's made with Gamesalad and movement is slow as molasses. Waste of $3.00 for me. I would recommend 64th Street over this any day.

It's not just the slowness, the game is called "hobo with a shotgun" but you rarely get any shells for said shotgun and it takes two hits to kill most enemies. Also, the loading times are horrible, I actually switched from playing this on the iPad to the iPhone because I figured the long load times were caused by some iPad incompatibility, sadly that's not the case. Wait 30+ seconds for game to load, slowly limp around and beat a few guys with the butt of the shotgun, wait 30+ more seconds for next screen (screen, not STAGE but actual screen) to load and repeat. I've never played an iPhone game with load times anywhere near this long or this often. What a shame, the movie looks awesome and this should have been great.

Really. Games made with Gamesalad really need to be marked as such somewhere where you can see before purchase. As do games with IAPs. It's quite ridiculous we're being made to purchase apps blindly with regard to issues which if known would immediately removed said game from consideration.

Hobo with a Shogun? Would have been a better game, some nice Japanese swords make for better weapons then a shotgun without any shells.
