iBabalu is out!

A new music/rhythm game in the vain of Tap Tap and Guitar Hero, developed by Kevin Ryan, an indie dev. who has created games for the past 20 years. Anyone willing to TOFTT?

iBabalu

Have some Conga Drum fun with iBabalu!

-------------------

BECOME THE HOTTEST CONGA PLAYER AROUND!

See how many points you can get by playing along with the built in songs. Do well enough to make the drummer sing "Babalu!" and start earning double points.

Try the following songs:

"Simple Clave" (0:33) - A song with a classic conga 3-2 clave beat.

"Sierra Samba" (0:52) - Keep up with the quicker tempo!

"Casa de Conga" (0:54) - A fun Latin themed song.

"Dreamy Rock" (2:17) - Play along to some California styled rock.

"Twangy Time" (1:52) - Conga away to a song with a country feel.

"Salsa Loco" (1:22) - Fun salsa song with a fast tempo!

-------------------

HIGH SCORE LISTS

Keep track of how you do on the top scores list. Can you score the highest? Get over 1,000,000 points?

-------------------

TWO PLAYER GAME - "FOLLOW THE LEADER"

Play head to head against your friends each trying to copy the conga beats that the other has played. Each person records half of a song and then both play the whole song seeing who can do best.

-------------------

JUST CONGA DRUM AWAY IN FREE DRUMMING MODE

In Free Drumming mode play whatever you like.

---------

REAL CONGA DRUM ACTION

Works like a real conga drum with different tones depending upon where you hit the drum. Hit the side to make a hitting the rim sound.

-------------------

Let us know about any suggestions that you have at support@topm.com.

We'll keep making it better and adding more songs.

-------------------

iBabalu is a like a cross between Guitar Hero and the wonderful Tap Tap games.

To play the conga just tap on the screen. Hit different areas of the conga drum to make different tones - higher pitched near the edge and deeper sounding towards the middle of the drum. Hit off the side of the drum to hit the side of the drum and make a nice sharp sound.

No Zombies, no ninjas, no vampires, no farts, no pirates, no monkeys - just pure Conga Drum Fun! Have fun!

Hey Guys, thanks for posting about it coming out.

I'm submitting a LITE version to the store today and then roll in some of the updates/fixes into this version and submit a full version update today too. I'm toned down the difficulty - I think this version is just too hard. I really need to make difficulty a selectable "Easy", "Medium", "Hard", and "Crazy Hard".

Then next is:
- adding a lot more songs.
- adding a career mode where you go on tour.
- online high scores.

(Yawn) I need some coffee...
