Everyone should own this on iPad, along with World of Goo and Osmos.

Yep, looks great on iPad! Brilliant little game! Reminds me of some DS games like Kirby, Scribblenaughts and Drawn to Life.

I hope they keep adding new levels for a while to come because it's one of the most fun and polished games I've played on iPad.

Cool, Max on the big screen! I have played this a lot on my Windows Phone 7, this will be interesting to try it on the larger iPad screen. (Yeah I use a Windows Phone and an iPad, haha)

I really want to buy this game, and I'm very sure I will - but I'm just not sure whether to get the iPhone version or the iPad version? (Man, I really wish more people made their apps universal!)
The potential problem I see is like this - and I would love to hear what other people think about this...
With the left/right arrows and the up arrow being positioned where they are and considering how we use them, I'm figuring this game plays nicely like a platformer, and is best suited to a smaller device, holding it in the hands PSP style. So I figure it would be best on the iPhone, as opposed to the iPad - especially considering that I have a chunky leather folder/case on my iPad.
But then, contradictorily, considering there is a lot of finger-drawing to be done, possibly quite precisely, I think it would be much better suited to a bigger screen, where drawing with fat fingertips is definitely much easier.
So which version to get, that is the question...
What do those of you who have already purchased the game think? Are you using an iPhone/iPod or an iPad? And how does it play on that device? Do my concerns outlined above have any merit?
Thanks!

Dunno about iPhone but on Windows Phone it was very easy to fat finger draw instead of moving left or right, or getting precise drawing. They updated the game but never tweaked that. I suspect the same here which is why I am so thrilled for the iPad version, and refuse to buy the iPhone version. Still loved the game on small screen though.

It's close to perfectly playable on iPad.

And I love that you can not only turn off the guideline hints but you can solve a puzzle in many different ways depending on what you draw.

For example... when it's raining you could draw a dome, get inside it and push it across the path so you were safe, or you could draw something like a big bucket, hook it around the ledge above the rain and all the away around it and hook it back, so it was like a big rain catching bucket

Same goes for climbing, draw slopes, stairs, pause the game mid jump and draw floating levels etc.

Amazing game!

This game is excellent. My daughter and I played it forever.

Haven't played the iPhone version, but the controls are money on the iPad.
