Strange, in itunes for its release date it says 16th march. Maybe they meant to release it then but the earthquake on the 11th pushed it back.

FFIII on DS got an average 80/100 score from various sources.

Finally I will see Shiva and Bahamut again. I loved the series since they've added the powerful creature summonings. FFIV is even better with that.

well in that case I'd rather just wait for FF4. not like I'm running out of games in the meantime

You'll miss a great game.

But sure, FFIV on DS is nearly untouchable, it's just great.
That doesn't mean that FFIII is a bad game. But you'll have to wait a long time for FFIV. I am sure they will release it for iOS.

Great to see iOS being home to the first 3 FFs, definitely hoping to see 4 and beyond because that's when it really gets epic! This will keep us all busy before FF Tactics comes rolling along. It's awesome to have SE support the Appstore.

The FFIV remake on DS was fantastic. I missed this one though, and am very glad it's come to iOS!

I kind of want to wait and see how the controls stack up.

Even at a higher pricepoint, I'm glad that AAA developers are starting to recognize iOS gaming as a serious force, even if it is a port. 13.99 is a steal for this quality of game.
