So it'd pretty much just be Snes9x bundled with some public domain roms (more could be added in updates of course).
Are you going to try this? Would be awesome...

What am i doing wrong?
Gametel has an iCade mode depending on how it's turned on so you don't use BTstack with it. Connect to it in the iOS settings app and then enable Options -> Input -> Use iCade, in the emulator.

Definitly thinking about it. First I'd need to implement separate rom and save directories, and also find enough public domain games to include with it.

I synced it how the emulator told me with BTstack instead of iOS's own bluetooth settings.
But when I search for iCade/Wiimote and other bluetooth controllers it doesn't respond.

Exclamation SNES9X EX on iTunes?

If this emulator made it onto iTunes, fabulous. But what is the possibility that "legit" users could use WiiMotes (and presumably BTStack) for external controllers? None? (in which case they'd be forced to use the Gametel or iCP devices)

I apologize if this has already been asked but does this emu support using an iPhone as a bt controller?

I have an iPad and would love to use my iPhone as the controller. I know this was done with snes hd and a controller app by a guy named woozle but I can't find his app anymore and I prefer to use snes9x over any other snes emu.

Oh and you used to have a forum dedicated to the iOS version of snes9x, do you have a link?

Default I don't get it...

Personally, I don't get the popularity of using iPhone as a remote controller for iPad (or another iPod, whatever) while in SNES emulation. It's just not possible to reproduce the original feel of the SNES gamepad that way, either in terms of button feel (where you absolutely need to have that positive click from that button, that you *know* is in the same place without having to look at it) or in button layout. Super Metroid comes to mind... shoulder buttons are shoulder buttons for a reason.

For similar reasons, I'm not sure it would be safe for me to fly one of those iOS-controlled RC helicopters.
