Catcha Mouse 2 is out http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=309090718&mt=8 loads more levels, different backgrounds and multiplayer mode where you can play as the mouse. anyone get this yet?, looks like they really improved on the first which was already great.

I liked the first one, will keep an eye on this one.
Don't really need the 2nd one when I can still play the first.
The only review in the AppStore seems kind of suspecious though, not that it means anything about the game itself.

Is it true that the game sometimes require luck rather than logic to solve? I don't like illogical puzzles.

The answer doesn't change, the mouse always follows the same path. There is no luck here.

does this version save your progress also after going back to a earlier level, because catcha mouse 1 can't.

Catcha Mouse is the #1 Free game and Catcha Mouse 2 is in the top 10 games. Has anyone finished either game?

Yeah, i finished Catcha Mouse und bought Catcha Mouse 2, but hadn't enough time to play this version.
So every level ist possible, but level 14 (hard) was in my opinion the hardest one. After this i finished the ~30 remaining Levels in a few minutes^^

I finished Catchamouse 1, and it's one of the best free apps I've got for my iPhone. I bought Catchamouse 2 without a second thought and it's just as good as the first one. Didn't notice too many differences so I just consider the $1 spent as a donation to the first game, which was free.
