How is the new title going? Will we see the new game anytime soon?

Curious, will the game get a bump for the iPad 3 retina display? I found out about the game the other day thanks to the banner ad on Board Game Geek and it looks right up my path

Will this game ever receive an update to toggle off automatic camera movement/rotation as promised? I waited patiently for months so I could play it, then finally gave up and deleted it a little while ago.

Great to hear about Frontline Tactics and now finally see it. I though this game was cancelled, as I last heard this game was going to be shown at GDC (looks like you got a new publisher now).

Cancelled? Never :-D

Just has taken a nice and long time to make it as good as possible. The GDC showing was primarily for finding a good publisher to work with, and we have partnered with Meridian 4 to do that.

As mentioned in the press release, we will be at gamescom next week. If you want to take a look at the game, play it a bit and have a chat - simply hit me up in business hall 4.2 booth #J 045. Its on the Nordic Game pavillion.

See you there and trailers etc.etc. coming up!

Am I missing something? Played about five missions of this so far, and against Hunters 2, this is so much more interesting as an XCOM-like option on iOS. I found Hunters 2 to be sterile, repetitive, and grindy as hell. It's polished, sure, but it also has some very annoying quirks, such as not being able to pass friendly units when moving. This game also has its quirks -- you have to use AP to pick up or trade items, and not being able to strategically reload when you want to is ridiculous -- but by and large, this has so much more going on. I especially appreciate how there's a true survival feel, since ammo is finite. I almost didn't get this game because so many reader reviews said it was a very frustrating game, but I feel like it's gotten a bad rap. Unless it totally tanks later on, I'd said this definitely has a leg up on the Hunters games.

You haven't missed anything. This is truly one of the most underappreciated games in the App Store. I've mentioned this before, but what I find really great about TS:UR is that it really "gets" zombie horror. A fight may seem easy at first, but then the undead begin to gang up on you and it becomes a frantic struggle for survival, where literally every bullet counts. There were so many "oh crap" moments in the game (where I thought I had the situation under control, then realized I didn't) that it wasn't even funny.

Glad that you are enjoying it.
