Sega raised $250,000 in Appstore sales last week for Japan relief effort.

Last week, SEGA held a sale across the App Store for all Sonic the Hedgehog and Football Manager titles. The proceeds from the sale generated over $250,000, all of which will be donated directly to the Red Cross for its Japanese relief efforts. SEGA wishes to thank everyone who participated in the sale for their support.

That's great.
I wonder how much Capcom made with Street Fighter. It was at the top of the charts for a while if I remember correctly.

Even I picked up a few of the sonic games while they were doing that I'm actually surprised they didn't make more but maybe the app store is a tougher place to make money than I thought.

I'm sure apple kept their 30% though.
