Paper Monsters - (Epic 2.5d Platformer!) by Crescent Moon Games

Paper Monsters is a 2.5d sidescroller / platformer .
Almost everything in the game is made out of paper. The levels and characters even looks as if it could actually be made using mostly origami (and maybe a cotton ball or two).
It has a vey "Papercraft" feel to it.

Even thought it is a sidescroller, the characters and bad guys are are fully animated 3d models.
So far you will be able to play as the main little box dude with power ups like the fire breathing paper dragon in the gameplay screen below.

- Classic 2d sidescrolling gameplay with Incredibly immersive 3d environments.
- Large Levels with checkpoints and hidden goodies
- Powerups including fire breathing dragons, flying bug suits and more!
- Game Center enabled for leaderboards and achievements
- iCloud
- Universal for iPhone, iPod, and iPad
- Full high res Retina™ support
-iCade and iControlPad both supported (UPDATE: now fully tested and will be added shortly after launch)

Older Updates

Update 4/7 Bad Guys - Below is one of the Baddies from the game. This is the actual model used in the game!!

Update 4/21- Gameplay: Ladybug box-copter -

First up - Your little box guy will be able to power up into a dragon.

Update 5/9 - Elevators - What's a platformer without some elevator action!

Update 5/24 - Bosses - Cutscene before first boss encounter

Update 6/14 - baddies - What's a platformer without a snow zone?
This little guy is from one of the snow levels. He uses his spear to jab at you so, you have to be careful when you can jump on him.
And you can pretty much count on a giant-abominable-snow-beast-yeti-boss battle!

Thanks for looking!

I suppose, changing all the characters from 2d sprites to 3D models could possibly be construed as different.

The art might have changed a tiny bit too lol
