People often look past that part.

Imagine how expensive TV would be without ads. And you can forget any free sites like this one.

Haha yeah it would be nice but ads do make things cheaper! Didn't the Megaupload guy make millions from ads alone over the past year?

I watch the SB w/o ads and I still enjoy it (I don't live in the U.S.) although I must say the ads are awesome.

Yes, but I play Doodle Army and iOS games during commercials and in transit to protect myself from the mind rotting mush of vacant commercials; if my device is not handy I make up video games in my head... there's no time for empty banter and exaggerated pretense here.
