Many of my friends JB but bought apps both from App Store & Cydia.
Jailbreak is legal but pirate isn't.

Oh I dont mind people who pirate too much. It probably helps more then hurts if you think about it. A person that pirates probably would not buy many games. So if they do pirate it at least they have it and then there is the opportunity that if they like it they will tell others who would be willing to purchase the app.

Wow, I think today was the best iOS day this whole year...plenty of great releases, a crap ton of price drops, and to top it all off, a couple of Halfbrick updates. Pure awesomeness. =]
