Ok this makes no sense. Why is that? the iDevices don't seem like something that should be extremely hard to open D:

Is DA ready for the iOS 6? Has anyone got problems with DA on iOS 6 beta?
Cannot wait to try the latest iOS.

It’s almost here.
Will Apple change the world once again this time, without Jobs?
Let's wait & see.

iOS 6 just means a longer wait until there's a jailbreak.

The iDevices are surprisingly hard to open/repair. You have to remove the "screen"/cover without damaging it by accessing 6 clips hidden in the side then take out of projector/screen with several small screws then un-solder/re-solder the battery.

Yeah but you know... "they" should have an easy way of doing so. Seems like a design problem right there if they dont.

$399 for an iPod Touch 32Gb seems steeper than I was expecting, ouch... hopefully there's a bit of a discount off MSRP at retail.

With Apple products unfortunately they tend to stay at MSRP till the next model comes out. I'm glad I can renew my cell plan and get the new iphone though I guess in the long run I pay a lot more because of the monthly bill is expensive.
