Tower Defense with moving towers plus quite intriguing, it's not the first but can't remember the other that tried that too not that long ago and probably lost inside my giant wish list.
The only point that worry me are the diversity and quality of levels designs plus the number of levels and duration of the campaign, the price isn't that low. |

So I got it and played the first levels. I'll report more in detail after to have play more levels, but a quick shot:
An overview of the rules and mechanisms:
It's vehicles that will be attacked by enemy in priority, and it's only vehicles that can attack and destroy enemies. But the commander is quite in the center anyway because he pick stuff and deploy elements like for repair or fog, all his actions are very important. There are voices for commenting the campaign and the important steps of the missions, this seems well done but it's in English and I can't say if an English native will appreciate too. The graphics are quite cool, in fact I felt them better than the snapshots, more natural when the snapshots in the App store look a bit artificial. The action is quite present but not that much during the first levels. All in all, I enjoyed a lot playing it; but I need play more to have a real point of view. I suppose the spirit isn't that far from TD even if it's a quite different base. I don't think to be wrong by advising it to fans of TD. Last edited by Qordobo; 04-07-2011 at 06:44 PM.. |

So I played it more, it's just a great game. I don't know if this sort of gameplay has already been used before but I haven't finished yet the campaign, and I already want a sequel and clones.
![]() It's not that easy even at Advanced difficulty (there's Casual/Advanced/Harcore) but overall it's seems ok and with a nice depth without to be too complicated. Even more that action TD I know, this game is really RTS for players not liking RTS because there's too much stuff to control in more standard RTS. And even if the gameplay rules are very different, it's a must for any TD fan. |

For those who are interested, the developers are having a 10% off intro sale on Steam, so if you wanna save a buck, you can get it there for PC and Mac users.

In fact it is on GamersGate too with a dual os support too. Not sure about the 10% sale, I just know Steam is unfaithful about following indie games addon and packs.
The more faithful about that is from far Apple but GamersGate is doing a quite good job too, almost always you don't need worry about the commercial success of the game, you'll get the addons and packs, Steam is quite different on that and I don't advise them at all for such type of game. In my opinion the 10% doesn't work the risk. Pick GamersGate instead if you really need the PC version, yeah just my 2 cents. |

Right off the bat, this game is brilliant.
Great graphics and revolutionary gameplay. The story won't blow you away, but still a recommended game. Feel free to ask me any questions about it. |

Reach top 8 in my country Mac App store, well ok that's probably not that much sells but I checked and it is top 15 at steam, not bad at all.
No matter the tops, it's a rare mix of originality, good depth without failing in complexity, developed gameplay design exploiting and developing well the original approach, and even a good production value. |
