First-person breakout game- has to be seen to be believed. Screen is used as paddle that you tilt left and right towards the blocks. As breakout games go - it's tedious having to destroy every block, but that's more the nature of these types of games. Worth a look.

Tried the first levels and enjoyed. Will pick up again for sure as soon as I can free some time for it. The help files are a bit too extensive maybe but they describe completely (and you can switch them off in the options). Just play it if you are interested in something new!
Believe it or not:
Arkanoid from the bat's view! (Later on you may even switch to ball's view via the camera symbol.) Never seen before. There are useful power ups like mighty orbs, awesome energy vortexes, explosive rockets and visual stunning chain reactions. Good physics: Depending on the point where the orb hits the bat (aka the "inner side" of your screen) you get a different and precise bounce-off angle. So you can make good use of the strategic factor.
There is a mini map at the beginning of each level for brief orientation. During gameplay you have something like an augmented reality display for the special elements. Different control methods will be presented during the interactive tutorial at the beginning and you can choose and switch any time. Tilting the device works well for me so far (up to tutorial level 5 with fixed and rather slow motion). Promised: After a few minutes of practice you've got the hang of it. Just imagine that YOU are the paddle.
You don't need to destroy
every block—just eliminate the (somewhat hidden) evil and always radiating reactors and the level is solved! High replay appeal by beating one's time. All breakout/arkanoid fans (and who isn't?) should try and support (pass the info, rate it, review it) that new game with it's slightly different but imho well done approach.
NEW. Published on Mar 21 '11. Full version (was US$.99). No iAd, no lite, no IAP. Tested on iPhone 4 iOS 4.3.1: Smooth gameplay with "Particles: Hi" in graphical settings, very rare freezes (maybe I should reboot my iPhone since four weeks or so). Thanks for the freebie!
