Not familiar with flight sim or having difficulty to play?
You can learn how to fly, and intercept/dogfight in help manual.
With a little practice you sure can handle it.

The Supermarine Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter aircraft used by the Royal Air Force and many other Allied countries throughout the Second World War. It was produced in greater numbers than any other British aircraft and was the only Allied fighter in production throughout the war.

All the missions are based on true history of Spitfire ACEs.

Lite version has 4 missions for J E "Johnnie" Johnson.
Full version has 24 missions for 7 ACEs, they are:
J E "Johnnie" Johnson ( 4 missions )
Douglas Bader ( 6 missions )
R S "Bob" Tuck ( 3 missions )
George Beurling ( 2 missions )
A G "Sailor" Malan ( 2 missions )
Alan Deere ( 4 missions )
C F Gray ( 3 missions )

Humm, read about that but looks like the control is a little bit cluttering -- of course I am not asking for the trim controls... :P

There is a lite version available (but not free!) and it should be mentioned, but since it is not free, I would wait for somebody else TOFTT first.

Further note: I don't think a plane gets killed by "hit points". Clip a wing == bought the farm, direct hit on cockpit and rip the engine on fire do more or less the same. I have some serious reservation regarding the serious of this one.

Any game play video would also be fine.

App store reviews imply that this is unfinished garbage with crashing issues. I love the flight-sim genre and want to give impressions, but the light version is still $0.99 for 4 small missions and there are no Youtube vids available. I wonder when "Skies of Glory" will get a sequel or a retina-display update.

Best flight-sims available IMO

I think the controls does not look too bad and there seems to have a padlock view here. Too bad there is no way to try it for free -- reminds me of that infamous X-Plane "demo" when it was launched....

I really enjoyed Air battle of britain and Spitfire, but can't justify the cost of the new one
