"IAmDungeon is a fun twist on a tried-and-true, addictive game of logic puzzles. It is easy to learn if you have never played a game like this before and it has fun, fantasy-style graphics and well-placed audio. At such a reasonable price it is definitely recommended."

IAmDungeon is a game of survival loosely designed around the classic game of MineSweeper. Your objective is to delve as deep into the dungeon as possible in search of gold and loot.

Along your journey, you will try to identify various entities as you seek out the exit in each level. Failure to do so will result in increasingly dangerous encounters which will likely end in doom.

In order to breach the deepest depths, finding a balance between greed and wisdom will be required. You may be rewarded with gold, but mistakes are costly, and you will need to spend some in order to survive.

To help you on your journey, you may come across special items which can enhance your character or provide you with spells that can help you in your quest.

So choose wisely brave adventurer...

Although this game is very loosely based on minesweeper mechanics, it is played quite differently! PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!

Still trying to wrap my head around how to start in this game. Once I've cleared a couple of blocks, I can use Minesweeper-style deduction to figure out what lies underneath the tiles, but the very first start with several unknown blocks around me always seems like a crapshoot.

Very interesting concept, but too much is left to chance.

Needs a few items to pick up to clear blocks - otherwise your first couple of moves are completely random guesses, and even shifting around to deduct things to better your chances of getting a guess right deducts points...

A simple fix might be an 'easy' mode where only the four (non-diagonally) adjacent squares are considered. Would cut the amount of luck waaaaay down.

Otherwise, just guess treasure all the time and pick up as much as you can until you die. Or guess monsters & traps all the time to reduce those and see how far you can get.
