Well, I guess this is SEGA battling Bombergames. Still, it's SoR2...finally!

Great game, but I'm still holding out for Streets of Rage 3.

I wonder if Sega's emulator has been improved upon at all?

@strivemind:
that's the question i'd have as well. Running the first SoR and Shinobi on my 4th gen ipod touch, i found that the games themselves were totally fine- no lag or slowdown, but what i DID have an issue with was the stupidly large, unconfigurable buttons.

Like, seriously, who is the dumbass at Sega's mobile division that thought it would be a good idea to have buttons like that with no possibility of resizing or moving them to less intrusive positions? Or changing the transparency? I disagree with Ruby Murry's position- all is not forgiven just yet.

You're being way too nice. Streets of Rage Remake was genuinely better than any official SoR game SEGA have ever put out and now they're trying to erase it from existence.

So you've got this cheap and shoddy SoR2 port, you could have had:
  • 100 new and remastered stages
  • 19 playable characters
  • 64 enemies (from all the Streets of Rage games)
  • 83 remixed songs
  • 40+ cutscenes
  • 8 different endings
On the one hand I respect intellectual property/copyright laws, on the other hand this was an amazing product that seemingly wasn't making any profit and SEGA killed it after eight years of hard work from the dev.
