To be honest, I thought that the game would look much better.
But really looks like a old retro game. Certainly not going to pay $6.99 for it. |

This game looks good, but I was way more interested before I watched the video.
I still find it funny that people complain so much about iPhone / iPad game prices. I mean, I get annoyed when a new game drops in price after a week as well (if I paid full price for it), but it's my own fault for not being patient. Also, it's not like $7 is going to break your bank. If this game were on Wiiware it would be $10 minimum, and if it were retail it would be $20 - $40. I'll wait a few weeks and check reviews before I take the plunge. |

UPDATE: Everything has been sorted out. You should be able to download the final 1.0.1 version. (If you were one of the few unlucky ones that got the "pre release" version, please update right away, create a new profile and start a new game. Sorry about that...)
Hi everyone, I've an important warning in case you're in NZ or around there. The version that went on sale over there wasn't meant to be released. It's an incomplete beta version. If you bought it, please wait a little before getting too far into the game as you will have to start a new game when the updated version (due in a few hours) is released. Why did this happen? The development of Elemental Rage took several months and we had reserved the app name early in the process. A new policy of Apple makes the name expire unless you upload your app before a 3 month deadline. So we were forced to upload this beta version, set the release date in the future and continued the development. We recently completed the final version and submitted it as an update to Apple about a week ago, and set the release date for 04/14, assuming it would be approved before that. The update is currently "in review", meaning it's a matter of hours before it's approved and goes live. So our calculations weren't so wrong, except we didn't take into account the different time zones... If you got the game, don't worry. The update that will be live in a few hours will work perfectly for you. Just don't advance too much into the game as you'll be forced to start over in the new version. Once you download the update, erase your profile and create a new one. We're deeply sorry for any troubles

Hey guys,
About the earlier mess-up, everything has been sorted out. The current version is 1.0.1 and should be the one going out in the next few hours in the US and most other countries. If you were one of the unlucky ones that got the "pre release" version, or if somehow (you never know with iTunes) get the 1.0 version when you download it, please get the 1.0.1 asap and update. You'll have to erase your profile (or the default one), create a new one and start a new game. Again, we're deeply sorry for the mistake. Hopefully, the iPhone release will go much smoother... |

Is there a lite planned? The controls are going to have to be great for me to pick this up, so a video won't be enough.
Regarding price, by app store standards, $6.99 is a fairly high price but if this game is amazing the price won't matter. At that price though, you really need a lite. |
