Default Loving It

Perfectly charming game, very immersive atmosphere and perhaps the best tutorial I've ever seen. Everything is "of a piece" and shows great care.
Very happy that TA got around to reviewing this, as I missed it upon release.

I'm not keen on the time limits and really like floating around and exploring. But that's just me --- I often get tripped on time limits in games.

Just gave it a 5-star review, richly deserved.

Indie devs rule!

How much "thinking" is required for this game? I've always been leery of puzzle games since I usually get through part of the game pretty easily, then when I hit a wall (usually about half way through), I just stop playing... Are the puzzle very difficult in this game? I've been recently looking for a more relaxing game thats not frantic and doesn't require "too" much thinking.

From the review videos, to me, it looks like it could be difficult in the later stages..

It gets more difficult, but if you aren't concerned with speeding through it then it is indeed as relaxing an action/puzzle game as I've found.

As one of the developers I personally dont think it gets too hard. We never got any complaints about that. If you get stuck, feel free to send a PM and Ill help you or google for the cheats and skip the level

I would love to be able to skip a level sometimes, go on to the next one and return to the "stickler" later and give it a fresh look. I love games that allow me to do that because if my frustration grows too strong I'm as likely as not to give up on a game which is otherwise really enjoyable.

Note: I love games but care not at all about leader boards most of the time.

Just my 2 cents.

Yep, we've had this discussion and I had the same point of view. But it just didnt fit that well into our level concept, because in games like Cut the Rope (where you can skip levels) you've got different worlds that are unlocked by getting those stars. We didnt want to make stars necessary for level progression. Also, some later levels require knowledge from previous "tutorials". As I said, it just didnt fit that well into our concept, so we skipped that feature. But be sure to tell me which levels are frustrating for you (if any) and well take look on how we might improve them!

Thanks Johannes. Perfect explanation and I understand. Not blaming the levels for being too difficult, blaming myself for my lack of skill.

and thanks for putting this game on the relaxing side. I thing putting to the emphasis on competitioon would ultimately ruin the experience.
The games is just too beautiful to rush through.
It is most rewarding when you can to sink into it

Cheers!
