Dr. Reichel's IQ Test HD - especially for iPad

Have you ever wondered what your IQ really is?

What if you could take a serious IQ test with beautiful high-resolution graphics right on your iPad?

We've partnered with a leading European IQ expert, psychologist Dr. Reichel, to develop the first scientific, accurate IQ test for the iPad.

It tests not only your verbal and math skills, but also your logical thinking, visual reasoning, technical comprehension, working memory and more. In approximately 45 minutes, you can generate an accurate estimate of your IQ.

To learn more, visit Dr. Reichel's IQ Test HD ($3.99) on the App Store website:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dr-reichels-iq-test-hd/id428470246

If you've tried Dr. Reichel's IQ Test HD, what did you think? We are already working on the first update and would like to incorporate your suggestions. So please post your feedback below or send it to support@thebinaryfamily.com.

Best wishes,
Leslie @ the binary family

Looks nice. Didn't think memory was part of any IQ test though? Also, does this app generate new IQ tests each run or is it one single test?

Not sure about the 145 max, either. Pretty pointless for us Mensa guys!

Jamie.

Hi Jamie, thanks for the very intelligent questions. About the memory sections - until I started working on this app, I also had not known that memory is used to measure IQ. But indeed, working memory or short term memory is considered one measure of intelligence.

The app only includes one IQ test because, unless you take a completely different type of IQ test (with 13 different categories), you would only get an accurate result the first time around anyway. Your score would be higher when taking another, similar test since you would have had practice on those kinds of questions.

We hope it is clear in the app description that this is a single-use test - let us know if you think we need to make that info more prominent. You can, of course, re-use it to test your friends.

The reason the test doesn't claim to give exact IQ results above 145 is that, according to Dr. Reichel, a finely-grained high intelligence IQ test would have to be designed differently from an IQ test for the general public. Perhaps we can develop another app for the highly intelligent in the future!
