It is a very good show but i must admit its not one i would want a game on. Think it might be an acquired taste.
Basically 'normal' people come to these investors with ideas, they either get a yes or a no. If its a yes the 'dragons' offer them deals, eg you want £50k for a 30% share of your business. I'll give you the full 50k but i want 50% etc Then basically these extremely rich people rob these others as they get great deals for themselves. For the first 10 mins of the program you hear how great and rich they all are and we're not etc ![]() Its not a bad show but gets a bit samey as the Dragons constantly try and get a great deal for themselves |

The show is called Shark Tank in the United States. It's on ABC.

Oh yeah, shark tank. I saw that a few times when it was new. Is it still on air? It certainly is an interesting thing to make a game on. I'd say there are quite a number of other shows that would have better game spin-offs. But ill try not to judge it until we get some impressions.

Sucks so far.
First, it plays on the iPad with the screen oriented long-side down yet when you have to enter your name, it switches to the short-side down view so you have to rotate your iPad to enter the text then rotate back again to continue playing the game. It consists of a one-line vague description of an invention - that quite frankly could be anything. You then decide whether to back it or not (based on virtually no information whatsoever - you're not told anything about it except for that one-line description of the product). After the winning bid is chosen (assuming one is made by a 'dragon'), you are told if it was a flop or success, money goes up or down accordingly and after three rounds, a winner is declared. Virtually no strategy involved at all. Not enough information given in order to make any kind of assessment as to how good the product is. No information about any financials, cost to market, profit margin. Nothing. May as well flip a coin three times. Jamie. |
