◎PAC-CHOMP! release commemorative sale!
Special prices for a limited time only!Don't miss this chance!

That perennial favorite PAC-MAN is back in a match 3 puzzle game!

Get rid of GHOSTS like BLINKY and INKY by matching their colors. Moving PAC-MAN is the key to success.
"PAC-CHOMP!" is a match-3 puzzle game for the strategy-minded.

This is a simple puzzle game where you match 3 GHOSTS of the same color.

Moving PAC-MAN is the key to getting a high score. Make use of the ROTATE button to get PAC-MAN to gobble up a range of items. When he chomps on an item lots of GHOSTS disappear at once! Gobbling a POWER PELLET causes all the GHOSTS to TURN-TO-BLUE!
Eat as much as possible to get rid of those pesky GHOSTS.

In later levels you'll run into even more types of GHOST.

[Game modes]
-NORMAL
*In NORMAL mode eliminate pesky GHOSTS to fill up the time gauge and clear each level.

-HARD CORE
*In HARD CORE mode the gauge empties faster than NORMAL mode, resulting in an action-packed race against time.

-SCRAMBLE
*In SCRAMBLE mode rush frantically to build up your score as high as possible within the time limit!

[GameCenter]
Because Game Center is supported, you can compare your scores with friends all over the world.

[How To Play]
-When you match 3 or more GHOSTS of the same color, you can flick the screen to switch ghosts to the top, bottom, left, or right.

-Match 3 or more GHOSTS of the same color to make them disappear.

-Match 4 GHOSTS to make an item appear, or 5 GHOSTS to make a POWER PELLET appear.

-Items are triggered when PAC-MAN eats them.

-A bonus stage is triggered when PAC-MAN gobbles up a POWER PELLET.

-Eliminate several sets of GHOSTS in a row to score combos.

-You can use the ROTATE button at the bottom of the screen to rotate a 5 x 5 area 90 degrees to the right.

Oh, another PAC-MAN game? How original.

But since it is a match-3, I might take a closer look at it for a buck.

What is the difference between this game and PAC-Chain and also PAC-Match Party?

Asides from being cheaper and universal, I couldn't tell what is different.

Cheers,

Bruno

I'll TOFTT. I'm kind of a sucker for Bejeweled type games if they're either polished or themed with some character I recognize.

So far the game seems pretty decent, but doesn't really bring anything wildly new to the genre (then again, I can't think of any that do). The unique part of this game is the pac man that's on the board. If you can bring him next to an item, you can eat it and trigger different effects. Power pellets are especially good for racking up points. The graphics for some of Namco's newer Pac-Man spinoffs (including this one) are a lot more polished than some of their other crappy ports. The controls could use a little adjustment, though. They don't seem to be as accurate as the ones in Bejeweled, but they're not horrendous. The swiping in pellet mode is pretty bad though. For the price, it's decent purchase if you're a fan of Bejeweled and/or Pac-Man (I'm pretty happy with it), but if you're the type who wants top-end games for $1, then I'd suggest passing on this one.

How does this compare to PAC-match party and PAC-chain? I don't have any of the three, am a huge match-3 an PAC-man fan, and want to pick up the best of the bunch? From screenshots of them all it is very difficult to differentiate between variances of gameplay. Thanks!
