Time Magazine has placed Peter Vesterbacka, developer of the smartphone game sensation Angry Birds, seventh on its annual list of the world’s 100 most influential people.

Vesterbacka heads Rovio, the company that created the unceasingly popular Angry Birds.

On the Time Magazine list, he comes in straight after Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg.

Vesterbacka scored higher among the top ten than the German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the founder of the whistleblowing website Wikileaks, Julian Assange.

LOL! Time's top 100 is so laughably bad. Some of the other top 100:

Justin Bieber
Joe Biden
Michele Bachmann (are you effing serious!?)
Sting
El General (apparently a Tunisian rapper)

JB, Biden, and Bachmann are very appropriate candidates to call "most influential" here in the US. You don't have to like them. Heck, they can even be complete retards that know less about US politics/government than "Joe Sixpack" when it's their supposedly their life, ahem MB, but they indeed fall perfectly into the category. These candidates definitely influence people greatly, though not in the best ways most of the time. Well, Biden is questionable.

Fu*k that and f*ck Justin Bieber, you know what, fu*k Time Magazine as well. Thats just bullshit. That dev should not be one of the most influential people..there are plenty of indie iOS devs that should have won that award. Not to mention the countless volunteers all over the world who do more in 1 day to help people and all this guy did was make a succesfull video game. This pisses me the hell off...

Give the damn award to the Mobigame devs for their Amnesty International App. Thats tons more influential than angry birds. All AB does is give you the ok to shoot birds at other objects, so in the abstract Angry birds supports animal cruelty, and by association Time Magazine supports animal cruelty. #bitches.

You are not pretty enough to be that stupid.
