So it sounds like the mage is not what I wanna do. I'm leaning towards the monk, but I don't know if that would be a bad decision if I solo most things. If I mostly solo, should I choose a warrior or archer, or is a monk still good?

I am having trouble logging in right now...."Connecting" for five minutes...then I see my characters...I select one and wait...then it says "Sorry, you have been disconnected from the server"

Yeah. Monks have a very fast heal (0.5 sec cast with talents) but it doesn't heal for that much. Still, if you keep healing in between weapon swings or if you do a stun-heal-heal combo whenever you can to keep yourself at full health, it's going to be hard to take you down (unless you have low HP). Then there's the Deities Infused ability which makes you immune to death for 15 seconds. That's usually long enough to get out of a bind and turn a battle in your favor. Or you can use if offensively to not worry about heals and do burst damage back to a class that's doing burst damage to you. It's rather obvious when you pop that ability though (you are surrounded by a huge circular glow) so I think your opponent will run away until it wears off.

Did you upgrade with the talent books in Greenmout? I thought the same till I upgraded...now all my spells do almost 300 damage or more....I'm lvl 23

Yeah I'm having very similar problems. It keeps telling me my character is already online...

I made it online finally...it is laggy, I lost all my active quests, and its very quiet..not many online yet...and its giving my hints like I just started a new character....everything else is there though...lvl, eq, and money
