well I just think its obviously different because its a 3d game where you are rolling over Gears. I love DN and DN2 so for anyone to even compare the two is a pretty awesome compliment.

Looks like this will be the ball-rolling iOS game. I had to pick it up at the launch price tonight, but I won't have time to play until tomorrow. I'm glad there are iPad 2 optimized graphics btw.

Would it be possible to have tilt sensitivity on the next update ? I find the tilt controls not responsive enough .

I couldn't not try Gears tonight, even if just for a minute (two levels) . Really nice-looking graphics and style plus smart-designed levels and physics. So far, so great. Nice job!

just noticed it runs pretty smooth on the 3GS at the 'High' setting.
but don't try that at home. Are the 2nd gen users running into issues - or?
It was really meant to be 3rd gen and up.

The game runs perfectly smoothly and looks great with medium graphics, but the frame-rate becomes low with high settings on my iPhone 4.

Playing this on an iPad and the game is absolutely stunning. I am also amazed with how perfect the swipe controls are.
