Fritz Chess

did search found nothing about this !

Fritz Chess

According to the experts Fritz is the best chess software of all times. Getting this good reputation has not been an easy job, as Fritz has had to demonstrate its worth beating the chess masters such as Garry Kasparov or Vladimir Kramnik.

well hopefully because its bloody expensive at 9.99

came out Mar 27 - but i've just noticed
and though it may interest the chess fans among you

Sounds a bit steep for a chess program on a mobile device. Though it sounds like it is the best chess app out there. On a side note my school's chess team took first in the nation.

Hi,
I am a club player with an german Elo 2100. (2300 US ELO). I have all three high end programs:

ChessGenius, Shredder and Fritz.

If you are looking for a very good program with much functions, take Genius from Richard Lang. He is the programmer of Genius and the old Mephisto ChessComputer.

The program has on the iPhone around 2.400 Elo points.

Shredder is a little bit stronger but it has less functions.

Fritz is a strong as Genius, but the functions and the handling are much worse. So, if you are willing to pay for a profi chess program, you shlould ChessGenius!

Greetings, Mythbuster

Sorry all the other programs than the three I talked about are not serious!

You have to distinguish between "games" and profi software!

Deep Green AI is laughable at best. Didn't like Chess Genius and the free Glaurung Chess held its own when I pited them against each other. I'll play Shredder iphone vs. Fritz iphone now...see you in an hour or so with the results.
