Jabbit available now! (Universal App)

Jabbit™ is a brain teasing and finger testing reaction game, based around the cute character Jabbit. Consisting of more than 15 individual levels, 2 consecutive marathon levels and 4 head-to-head multiplayer levels and hidden Golden Jabbits to find, Jabbit™ offers hours of jabbing fun, along with unique and engaging graphics - each level has its own theme and beautifully designed background.

Combined with Game Center Leaderboards and Achievements you can challenge your friends to beat your score and prove once and for all who has the fastest brain and the quickest fingers. But wait - there's more! Your World Group Ranking rates your total score combined with all of your friends total scores to compete for the honor of being Jabbit World Rank #1. Get your friends to play Jabbit and increase your Group Score! The more they play… The better they play… The better your rank will be!

Jabbit™ is available as a Universal App for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch - buy once, play on all! (iOS 4.1 or above required)

We listen to our users, so please feel free to leave your feedback either as a Review on the store, or directly in this thread. The first update is underway, and we'd love to incorporate your ideas!

are you planning on releasing a lite version also ?
i do think it would help people to see if they would like it.
because $1.99 might be to much to take a guess on it.

Hi Katday,

Thanks for your feedback! For the time being we're not planning to release a lite-version, as we'd prefer to focus on continual improvements to the game for those who have bought it/will buy it - and we have a whole host of great new features still to bring to the game!

We probably do need a more detailed video to show the different modes of play, game center features, and bluetooth-multiplayer action... Will get our marketing guys on to this asap!

Many thanks again for your feedback.

it's indeed a good idea to make a video to show what kind of levels
you have and how diverse the levels/gameplay is.
because from the video you placed it all looks the same to be honest and that wouldn't justify ..atleast to me spending $1.99.
so curious about the other levels that are in the game.

looking forward to see abit more of the game and your welcome about the feedback !

It would be helpful...

...if the developer would provide a description of the nature of the game play. The teaser video is useless in this regard.

Hi Grist,

Thanks for the suggestion.

Here's a synopsis of the game.

Jabbit is a 'whack-a-mole' style game with a twist. The user starts off in the world 'Farm Trotters' where life is simple, all they must do is jab as much as possible, and as fast as possible. While mostly aimed as an introductory level, it also serves well for younger children who're still developing their motor skills. Complete the 3 target practice levels, and last long enough to reach a qualifying score in the final Endurance level, and the user will graduate the farm and unlock City Slicker.

In City Slicker, life is faster and more complicated. There are rules to be followed, yet speed is still very much the essence - the pressure is on! The user must work through three levels where the rules involve hitting the correct numbers, or the correct letters. Finally they must pass the Big Apple level where now the Jabbits must be 'flicked' in the right direction. This is a sort of crossover between Bop-It, Simon Says and the traditional whack-a-mole.

After graduating from the City Slicker level, the player is now qualified to roam the world as a Jet Setter and discover the delights of the worlds eclectic mixes. Each level has a combination of rules - flick some, don't hit some letters/numbers, hit other letters or numbers.

Completion of the JetSetter world unlocks the Marathon Runner levels, which are individual stages chained together, with new rules for each stage. Can you make it to the finish line and score BIG?

Distributed throughout the game there are some hidden golden jabbits. Find and hit these and you will unlock the Bonus Levels world which offers 4 extra levels with some differences to the main game. The Bonus Levels are lots of fun and worth finding!

In addition to this, there are 4 heads-up multiplayer races which use Bluetooth - hit the target score before your opponent, along with Game Center achievements to unlock, and Leaderboards to climb.

I hope this helps to provide a clearer idea of the type of game this is and help you with your purchasing decisions, while we work on a better video - and continue with the improvements for our first version update!
