For me I used level 2 or 3 peasant at wave 2 or 3 , waited for 2 smithy then spammed the peasant, just keeps running back and forth passed the final spear skeletons to make sure the peasants don't get hits.

its a fun game, I played through 3 or 4 times using different skills and units. I then decided to do every single achievement, now that I did that I am aiming at the worldwide high score, I think I'm on track for that.

which brings me to the downside to the endless mode, it runs so damn slow when you have over 100 units all congested up at the gate, its at the point where I just leave it be and it keeps going but its just such a slow process.

just so I know when to stop would someone let me know what the highest score on endless mode is, I can't check while mine is going

Feel kinda weird saying this, since everyone seems to love it so, but I thought this game was awful and I deleted it after a couple of levels. It's like a horrible amalgamation of lots of bad games and Ash deserves better, dammit!

Really, can someone check that high score for me. I'm up to around the 120,000,000 mark but I can't remember how high I need to go

High score is almost 1,200,000,000. My game was running for about 12 hours to get up to 200,000,000 because of how slow it goes once your screen has so many units on it. How the hell can anyone have days and days on end to sit there with this game?

So my 7 year old is stuck on level 50 and bugging me on how to beat it. I read online a bit and it seems a little difficult especially since I don't know the game too well and don't understand all the weapons pits etc.

Is there an easy way to do it. Like someway I can use iFile and go in and max out the strength of everything so he can win???

You'll make him quite happy.

Thanks

Really? You're going to teach your son that it's ok to cheat to win a game?

It took me a few times to beat that level. I'm sure if he was able to get that far, he can beat it too with some practice. Also, by doing the level multiple times, he'll earn gold to upgrade his units, skills, etc. There's no one way to do it - just tell him to keep working on it.

Thanks I'll let him know.

I have questionable ethics and morals so this doesn't bother me. Plus, I really want him to learn that he can go into the files and modify things. The more he messes around the better.

Lastly, isn't AOD a freemium game? Is it cheating to pay real money to buy better weapons, gold etc.???

I haven't put thought into ethics of games but would you consider tilting a pinball machine cheating???

anyway - thanks for the reply

lol, as long as you recognize your ethical/moral limits, I guess that's ok?
Sure, teaching him to experiment and learn about the device, etc. is good. I just think it's also good to make sure he understands why he's doing it. But of course, it's not my place to instruct you on raising your child. Just my opinion.

No, it's not cheating to use real money to buy more gold because the developers put that feature into the game. Cheating is the act of bypassing the designed rules/features. And no, I wouldn't consider bumping a pinball machine cheating either because pinball machines have tilt sensors to detect the amount of bumping. It's part of the game - it's a risk you take - if you bump too much, you get penalized for it. Now if the tilt sensors weren't in there, then yes, I would consider it cheating.
