It's easily amongst the best rolling-ball labyrinth games I've played. It's fine all the way through - level design, game mechanics, presentation, and music. Control response is a delight. It keeps interest well with clever level designs and the introduction of new kinds of enemies, obstacles or features (like switched gates and teleports) every few levels. It has some novel depth for a game of this kind, for instance being able to lure enemies and trick them into bumping each other off.
Not a "quiet" game though. The levels are timed but that's not it - the time limits are generous. It's the challenge of getting that poor rat through hectic levels full of death traps. Some levels seem almost impossible to overcome at first but come together rewardingly once you figure out a strategy.

Like labyrinth but funner!

Entertaining maze game with a cute theme, great art, and challenging obstacles. Please add tilt calibration option (and touch controls if possible!). Glad I caught this on slide to play .com or I would have never heard of this

X-rat is a fantastic take on the labyrinth style, requiring fast reflexes, a sharp mind, and tons of patience as you'll inevitably be repeated crushed, drowned, electrocuted, and suffer every other imaginable indignity in the fine tradition of Nintendo Hard games, which just makes victory all the sweeter when you do get through. A very worthwhile purchase.

Looks good, plays well, hard as nails. Easily worth 69p!

Das Spiel macht sehr viel richtig, macht Spaß und unterhält eine Weile.

Oh come on jDonald

It makes the game look bad if you have newbies joining just to praise this one single game (and none of the others) as it looks fake.

Not good for potential sales.

I hate when devs do that!

Dropped iPhone 6 on live tv. Became a viral sensation.

I'm gonna check it out. One shill proves nothing, especially in a market with little to no visibility like the App Store. I'm sure Rovio were dubious about their success the moment Angry Birds launched too.

It's actually a pretty decent game. Nothing amazing as of yet but a nice little ball roller. You just have to grab the cheese and escape the lab while avoiding enemies and obstacles. There's a time limit which some people might find annoying and I didn't see a calibration option but it might be hidden in there somewhere. I wasn't too pleased about the mix of retina graphics with non-retina. I'd rather have the whole thing non-retina than half and half, that just looks inconsistent and messy to me.

app world is tough.
It might be the dev trick (most likely) or competitor's trick (less likely).
When I released my app, i felt like a lone warrior fighting and felt tempted to create clones but somehow didn't.
I did face lots of criticism for posting about my game in a few forums where dev promotion was not considered good manners.
Finally, I decided to create a lite version and let the customers decide for themselves.

I developed SpacePuzzle!
Proud of it! Do consider trying it!

Too bad it isn't universal.
