For fans of the original Wizardry game

I did a search, and didn't come up with any results, which was surprising. I don't even remember how I came across this game, but it's called Sorceror #1. It's basically the ancient game called Wizardry (the original). Nothing earth-shattering, but it's free and pretty fun.

So head's up.

For those of you who aren't old enough to remember Wizardry, I believe it was THE very first computer dungeon crawl RPG that basically gave rise eventually to the likes of Bard's Tale, Might and Magic, etc. The version I remember was made for the Apple II. (Not Mac. The original Apple computers.)

The version in the US iTunes store is in Engrish though.

No, that is not a typo.

I believe there was actually a precursor to Wizardy (made by the same guy, in fact), though I couldn't tell you off hand what it was. For all intents and purposes, though, Wizardy really is the first "3D" dungeon crawl that everyone probably remembers. I actually don't think I played it until after M&M and Bard's Tale, though.
