Finger Marathon - charity game now out.

Hi Folks

Finger Marathon came out this morning. We have created the game in support of my attempt to run the Flora London Marathon on 26th April. Its a bit like Finger Sprint, but lasting 30 seconds instead of 3, with a 3D track and most importantly for Charity.

The site is at: http://www.fingermarathon.com

I'm running in aid of Mind - the leading mental health charity in England & Wales. Finger Marathon is the ultimate test for your finger endurance, and there are two versions of the game:

FINGER MARATHON
Costing 0.59 ($0.99), all proceeds (minus apple's 30%) are sponsorship for Morgan and will go directly to Mind (www.mind.org.uk)
http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=311472290

FINGER MARATHON LITE
A free game, featuring all the finger pumping fun, but without the global leaderboard.
http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=311479040

Cheers

Morgan

ps. my sponsorship page is here: http://www.justgiving.com/morgandavies

Good luck with the marathon! Will the lite version help in any way as far as sponsorship goes? For example will any companies donate based on how many people downloaded the lite version, etc?

Oh, my sister's running a marathon for charity in a few weeks in London too! Not sure if it's the same one, but good luck!

The Lite version will hopefully raise awareness of the full version, which will be raising sponsorship. as for companies matching donation to downloads, its a good idea, but no not at the moment. And hopefully the lite version is a bit of fun in its own right.

cheers
