Finished: Fullmetal Alchemist

I never been reading manga, but my friend enjoys it a lot.

just try it... I read manga caused my friend suggest me about it... It's not bad actually, especially if u can be selective to choose which one to read. Not all manga are bad, try to find the best genre which suitable for you. Hungry Joker is quite good, tell about human and "god -> actually it's demon"
Fairy Tail also nice and funny... or you might take a look into Fullmetal, it's good to know the story which so meaningful

Fullmetal alchemist is my favorite manga.

Some great ones are "tsubasa reservoir chronicles" and "shaman king"

History's strongest disciple? It's a pretty funny read xD my only problem with it is that once you hit like volume 30 there was too much ecchi :/

Most anime are based off of manga. And yeah, manga is essentially Japanese comics
