High of 82 today and then 83 tomorrow. Looks like winter is ending early in Texas this year. Feeling good.
Edit: Just turned Cartoon Network on. They still have Tom and Jerry from noon until 1 PM just like they did over a decade ago. Hell yes. I think the last time I watched CN during the day was over years ago. Last edited by backtothis; 02-22-2012 at 12:04 PM.. |

Alright, I guess I'm done trolling.
I'll just end it with look at this in depth review (16 pages of info) and comparison of the Samsung Slate 7. Big thanks to Engadget and IMNS for the link. I missed it earlier. It runs circles around the iPad an pretty much everything else. Windows 8 will only improve on all of this. I also posted a second review link made by a so called Apple fan. And the third link is Msoft's plan to improve on performance with Windows 8. And the fourth link is to Microsoft's in depth blog post about Win 8 power efficiency. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...late,3079.html http://tekonomist.wordpress.com/2012...msung-7-slate/ http://news.cnet.com/8301-10805_3-57...-battery-life/ http://blogs.msdn.com/b/b8/archive/2...lications.aspx ----------------------------- Quote from Engadget commenter. I guess you can take it with a grain of salt. Quote:

I'll just say this: you'll get what you pay for. Unfortunately, that's a lot for the latter case. Yes, the thing is a frigging beast. But at that price point (upwards of $1k), you could get better specs in a nice, lightweight laptop or even an Ultrabook (Dell XPS 13, for example, at $999 entry-level). I don't see the advantage of having a tablet over the XPS 13, but you probably do. The iPad is half the price for entry-level. For a lot of people, that's reason enough to prefer Apple's offering.
Just illuminating the scene a tad. |
