I don't really find the guy in the sketch very funny, but that one just totally rang true so it made me smirk. Maybe our news reports are slightly different over here.

hmm, i watch lots of BBC and I primarily work with a British dude, so I guess I'm used to that kind of humor in some weird way.

That may be true, I'm not really too into keeping up with the news. Over here, at least, everything is PANIC PANIC PANIC!!! The world is coming to an end!!!

I'm not emotional stable enough to endure that BS on a daily basis... especially when it seems a majority of it is preemptive panic... just to keep the public on our toes
