Hi, my name is Rob and I'm the developer of a game for iOS devices (universal binary) called OmniBlaster.

OmniBlaster is a traditional arcade style harking back to the days of Space Invaders and Asteroids but modernized. It uses the accelerometer to move your ship while you fire your blasters and torpedoes to blast your way through waves of enemy fighters and capital ships. As you progress, you are awarded upgrades to larger, more powerful ships to combat the enemy.

I bet it must be the first game you released because you seem to have gone a wrong way in capturing the screenshots.
I'm sure the graphics must be times exquisite than what you demonstrate here. though actually I don't know how to do screenshot job either

It's a little tough to hold the phone, press fire buttons, at the same time hitting the home and lock buttons at the same time. I actually captured these with screen caps on the laptop in the simulator. But yea, its my first game. I'm an indie shop with limited access to artists.

New version of OmniBlaster 1.2 now live in the iTunes App Store

Version 1.2 of OmniBlaster went live in the iTunes App Store last night.

This was mostly a maintenance release to fix bugs and improve game play, but new features include power meters for the timed power ups and counters for the non-timed ones so you know when they are about up and multiple backgrounds.

Get it today!
