KDice Trainer available today!

I finished porting kdice.com to Objective-C and now the KDice Trainer is available in the App Store. If you're not familiar with kdice.com its like Risk and based on Dicewars.

The landing page:
http://iphone.kdice.com

On the App Store:
http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=310652813&mt=8

I can give away some promo copies to people that can help promote (video, blog posts, etc). My email is ryan@rdews.com

Finally!

DAMN! I bought Strategery for $2 a couple of weeks ago because it was the closest thing I could find to DiceWars. Strategery's not bad, but KDice looks like EXACTLY what I was looking for. And me without any more discretionary funds. BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAST!!!!!

Grabbed this one as well. Love the "risk" type games.

My reviewer name is "Wawd Buhton".

Is there any sound in the game or is it just like the flash game?

No Sound. And you get new units only by random. Options like in Strategry are compete missing. I hope the AI plays good and does not cheat.

That's what I was worried about with the lack of options. Strategery has gone through a few updates and is pretty good, although the AI can be questionable sometimes. Or it could just be me with risk-type games.

Having the leaderboards to go through is nice, but the problem with these games, is the AI tends to gang up on you, even though there are others that are weaker than you. Since everyone is against you, you just need to be lucky with the dices, and when those fail you are doomed.
Game needs more options, at least a quick-play game (that doesn't count in the leaderboard), to compete with Strategery (have to buy it still, but content with the lite), and sometimes when the countries are too thin I can't seem to select it.

I decided to give this one a try, and I didn't find it nearly as compelling as Strategery. You never realize how cool having options is until you play a similar game that doesn't have any
