Why isn't this game universal? I would buy it if it was.

I just played the lite for a bit, and it's a fun and interesting game. It feels a bit more like a puzzle game than a shooter to me, but it's definitely a unique hybrid. I beat 180,000 so hopefully I'll be getting a promo code and can then post impressions on the full game.

Edit: A front page review just appeared: http://toucharcade.com/2011/06/01/mecapix-review/

Even if it does not support iPad native resolution, the game looks great and plays well on iPad!

Got 180k, and sent in my screenshot. The game is actually really good, and quite challenging.

Needs universal support.

iOS gaming =/= iPhone apps. iPad owners are a growing part of the market - do not ignore us. And keep in mind many of us also own other iOS devices. Universal should be the new standard.

Running iPhone games at 2X on iPad sucks. Will buy when it's universal.

EDIT: please note I'm only saying this because Mecapix looks great, and I WANT to buy it. But as a new iPad 2 owner, I will no longer buy apps that are not universal. (Or in some cases, reasonably priced iPad apps that are justified by improved graphics or added content).

Awesome! Thanks for the code. I'll leave more concrete impressions once I've had a chance to play it for a while.
