I've played it for a little while and it's basically harder version of NY Zombies with cel shaded graphics and a sometimes unresponsive camera.

The graphics look nice - worth the 300MB of storage space?

It's IMO one of the best FPS survival games there is. Read my review in the iPhone section for details.

Says it's universal.

Well worth the dl while it's free...gfx are great, controls are decent...pretty intense gameplay with a fun combo scoring system and in-depth stat leader board ...

My only issue is it runs fairly doggy (but acceptable) on the iPhone 4 but smooth as butter on the ipad2....so if you don't have at least an 4th gen I'd probably pass...

I beg to differ... what a surprisingly pleasant (and free) game!

The visuals are pretty damn nice - though the backgrounds are static images, each one does look pretty nice. I just hit #7 on the global leaderboards by racking up 81 kills without dying. I ran out of ammo on the first gun but luckily got enough kills to unlock the second pistol on the list.

I can see this getting old pretty fast but the gameplay is in fact frantic later on - shot placement feels great, headshots feel satisfying and put down zombies with a single bullet as expected.

To anyone on the fence about this - give it a whirl. The graphics are great, the gameplay is pretty fun!

Hey what? The game is smooth as silk on MY iPhone 4... Perhaps you've got too much background tasks?

One of those comments that you'll want more explanation on. The touch controls are quite good in my opinion, not to mention you can tweak the sensitivity. Gyro helps a lot though.
And gameplay wise, it's a survival game that places heavy emphasis on insta-kill headshots. If you can't bring the zombies down in one shot or does not activate Cruel Time efficiently then you're doing something wrong.
